Bernard Goldberg
bg@bgfa.comBernard Goldberg has been a private collector of American art for over forty years. Prior to the founding of the gallery, he had successful careers as an attorney, and as a real estate and hotel developer. As one of the first boutique hoteliers in New York, his Gotham Hospitality Group earned a reputation for the quality of its installations of original art in the hotels’ public spaces and private rooms. He has taught courses in hotel development at NYU’s School of Continuing Education, and has been a Trustee of the Jewish Museum in New York. He was a member of the New York City Comptroller's Committee on the Arts, and has also served on the Whitney Museum’s drawing committee. His full time professional interest and occupation is now as Manager Owner of Bernard Goldberg Fine Arts, LLC.

Suzanne Julig, Director
sjulig@bgfa.comSuzanne Julig has over twenty years experience in New York galleries, previously as a Director at DC Moore Gallery and an Associate Director at Hirschl & Adler Galleries. She began her career at the IBM Gallery working in the areas of exhibitions and education. Suzanne earned a B.A. from Rutgers College of Rutgers University, Phi Beta Kappa, cum laude, and with departmental honors in Art History, as well as an M.A. in Art History from Hunter College, with distinction. She is a member of ArtTable, a by-nomination, national organization for professional women in the visual arts.

Jeffrey Kopie
jkopie@bgfa.comJeffrey Kopie is a former assistant to the artist Donald Judd and was an administrator and registrar of the Chinati Foundation in Marfa, Texas. He has published numerous essays in exhibition catalogues and journals including a Donald Judd chronology for the Tate Modern, and articles on contemporary artists.

Don Sparacin
ds@bgfa.comDon Sparacin has ten years of experience in the American fine art market, formerly as an Associate Director at Owen Gallery, New York. In addition to working on a number of exhibitions on the Eight, Thomas Hart Benton and Early American Modernism, he served as a curatorial assistant for a retrospective exhibition on the work of Theodore Robinson. He holds a B.A. in Art History from SUNY, New Paltz.

Leah Redfield
leah@bgfa.comLeah Redfield holds a B.A. in History from Oberlin College, Phi Beta Kappa, and is completing her M.A. in Art History at Hunter College, New York. She is currently working on an exhibition of 18th and 19th century Islamic objects from the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Previously she was an associate at a contemporary art gallery in Chelsea.

Mimi@bgfa.comMimi Towell has nearly twenty years of experience in the fine art market. She began her career at Marlborough Gallery in New York and has worked at other prominent galleries including Sid Deutsch and Kennedy. She holds a B.A. in the History of Art from the University of Pennsylvania.

Lee Kurlander
leahkur@bgfa.comLee Kurlander, Gallery Receptionist, was formerly an actress and singer who performed extensively in the Yiddish theater and in jazz nightclubs in New York. She retired from the stage to raise her three children and then began working with Bernard Goldberg in 1991.
